Our Beliefs

Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit as we study and obey His Word.  We are not a denominational ministry, nor are we opposed to denomination as such, only to their overemphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the body of Christ.

Christ has only one Bride, and thus we unite with anyone who fears, obeys and loves the Lord and abides by His Word, in order to  fulfill the Great Commission.
We believe that the true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater that any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves as Christians.

WE BELIEVE
Therefore:
worship of God should be Spiritual.
we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.

WE BELIEVE
Therefore:
worship of God should be Inspirational.
we give great place to music in our worship.

WE BELIEVE
Therefore:
worship of God should be Intelligent.
our gatherings are designed with great emphasis upon teaching the Word of God that He might instruct us how He would be worshipped.

WE BELIEVE
Therefore:
worship of God should be Fruitful.
we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshipping Him.

WE BELIEVE:

  •   The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

  •   In one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three distinct "persons," Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  •   That Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.  He died on the cross a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures.  Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Majesty of High, where He now is our High Priest and Advocate.

  •   That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

  •   That God created man in His image, without sin.  However, man fell into a rebellion against God (sin), and is therefore sentenced to a physical death on earth and eternity in hell.

  •   That God, in His Mercy and Wisdom provided the way for sinful man to be saved from hell.  The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe.  Only those who  repent and receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit, spiritually regenerated, and thus become the children of God.

  •   That water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age.  They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation.

  •   That the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head.

  •   That the true believers are recognized by their desire for obedience to God's Word, which is manifested among other things by their God-given desire to warn the world of the coming Judgment and share the Gospel, honor God in good deeds and fellowship with other believers.

  •   That Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church, and that every local church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs.

  •   In the personal, pre-millennial and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this "Blessed Hope" has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

  •   In the bodily resurrection of the dead: of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment in hell.
